1.1 Eligibility: Members must be at least 19 years old and have a registered canine companion.
1.2 Application: All prospective members must complete an application form and agree to abide by the club’s rules and policies.
1.3 Dues: Membership dues for Friendly Paws Society are payable annually and are non-refundable.
2. General Conduct
2.1 Respectful Behavior: All members must treat each other, staff, and animals with respect.
2.2 Cleanliness: Members are responsible for cleaning up after their dogs. Waste disposal bags, disinfectants, paper towel and waste baskets are provided throughout the club. Staff will assist with a mop and bucket for larger messes.
2.3 Noise Control: Barking must be kept to a minimum. Dogs that are excessively noisy may be asked to leave.
3. Dog Behavior and Health
3.1 Vaccinations: All dogs must have up-to-date vaccinations. Proof of vaccinations is required upon application and renewal.
3.2 Health: Dogs must be in good health and free from contagious conditions. Any signs of illness must be reported immediately.
3.3 Behavior: Aggressive behavior is not tolerated. Dogs showing signs of aggression may be expelled from the club.
4. Facilities and Equipment
4.1 Usage: Facilities and equipment are to be used responsibly. Damages caused by misuse will be the responsibility of the member.
4.2 Supervision: Dogs must be supervised at all times. The club is not liable for any injuries or accidents that occur.
4.3 Maintenance: Members are expected to help maintain the cleanliness and orderliness of the club.
5. Events and Activities
5.1 Participation: Members are encouraged to participate in club events and activities.
5.2 Registration: Pre-registration may be required for certain events. Details will be provided in advance.
5.3 Rules Compliance: Members must comply with any additional rules specific to events and activities.
6. Privacy and Confidentiality
6.1 Data Protection: The club respects the privacy of its members. Personal information will be kept confidential and used only for club-related purposes. See Privacy Policy Document.
6.2 Photography: Members consent to the use of photographs taken at club events for promotional purposes, unless otherwise stated.
7. Code of Ethics
7.1 Animal Welfare: Members must prioritize the welfare and well-being of all animals.
7.2 Community Spirit: Members are encouraged to foster a supportive and inclusive community.
7.3 Integrity: Honesty and integrity are expected in all interactions within the club.
